The requirements for employing artificial intelligence in university education from the point of view of academic leaders: a proposed conception

Abstract

   The study aimed to identify the requirements for employing artificial intelligence in university education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of academic leaders, while presenting a proposed perception. The descriptive approach was used, and the questionnaire was applied to a sample of academic leaders at the College of Education at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, numbering (127).

    The study reached a number of results, including the following: technical requirements came in first place, followed by financial requirements, then administrative requirements in third place, while human requirements related to the teaching staff came in fourth place, and human requirements related to the student came in fifth and last place. There are also no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample regarding the requirements for employing artificial intelligence in university education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of academic leaders depending on the variables of gender and occupation.
